Do you think that philanthropy should be a moral obligation? In the article What should a Billionaire give and what should you it talks about how billionaires will use their money for things that they don't really need and there are people that have nothing that they need or nothing for themselves. The people with more money could be giving money for the people that have nothing. There are several billionaires who give money just to make them look good so that people would like them more. I really think that it is wrong to give money to a charity just to make you look good. People should give money willingly because the people need it and they actually want to help them out. I think that if you have things that you no longer need or if you have enough money to give then you should give it to a charity for people that need it.

The article that I read was about two males and they were on a boat heading from Kiribati to Maiana to fish. They only packed enough stuff for that day and they fell asleep on the boat and the drifted away from their original destination. The older guy had gone days without water and eventually passed away, the other guy eventually found land. Several days later a shark had come to the shore and woke the guy up by hitting the boat he was in and led him to a ship nearby. This article is interesting to me because normally we thank of sharks as mean, killing creatures but in reality most of them mean no harm at all. I think that people give the sharks a bad name just because of people that had been killed by them or have been injured by them but sharks do not always realize what they are biting into. Whenever they are biting into human flesh they think that it is their normal food that they eat. Most sharks have never bit a human so they would not know what the difference from their normal food is until the bite into the flesh. This man was very lucky that the shark actually led him to people on a ship. I truley think that God was watching over this man.

The picture represents Narcissus and Echo. Narcissus is looking at his reflection in the water and has fallen in love with himself. He is so amazed at how handsome he looks that he doesnt he see the half naked woman beside him. "He can not move, for so he marvels at himself, and lies with countenance unchanged, as if indeed a statue carved of Parian marble."
